Daxten AXB-16 ATS

A and B redundant power supplies for single power source IT devices

Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) for retrofitting redundant power supply for up to 7 IT devices

The Daxten AXB-16 ATS offers the retrofitting of A and B redundant power supplies for single power source IT devices such as servers and switches. The unit switches between power sources within 7ms and 10ms (A to B or B to A) regardless of phase. The circuit then supplies up to 7 connected components (6 x IEC C13 (10A) and 1 x IEC C19 (16A)) with all the power they need, until the primary circuit is ready again to assume the full load. The AXB-16 ATS only requires 1U of rack space and is supplied by two IEC 20 power connections. The ATS system can also be manually switched by push button, SNMP or Telnet session. The web interface allows for reconfiguration or maintenance work to be performed. In addition, the solution integrates energy and residual current monitoring (RCM). The unit also offers dedicated connections for optional sensors (temperature, temperature/humidity). Thresholds for energy, temperature and humidity can be predefined and alerts are accessible via email, Syslog or SNMP traps.

Highlights

  • Retrofit redundant power supply for up to 7 IT devices
  • Automatical and manual switching of the A or B power supply path
  • Free choice of the primary power supply path (A or B)
  • Typical switching time: between 7ms and 10ms
  • Protects against downtime even in the event of phase imbalance
  • 2 energy meters (1 x permanent, 1 x resettable)
  • Residual Current Monitoring (RCM), type A
  • Measurements: A, V, phase angle, power factor, frequency, apparent power and reactive power
  • 2 connections for optional sensors (temperature, temperature/humidity)
  • Communication: IPv6, SNMP, SSL, Telnet, Radius, Modbus TCP

Connections

  • 2 power connections (IEC C20, max. 16 A)
  • 6 power outputs (IEC C13, max. 10 A)
  • 1 power output (IEC C19, max. 16 A)
  • Network connection RJ45 (10/100 Mbit/s)
  • Galvanically separated signal output (Sub-D 9-polig)
  • 2 sensor inputs (RJ45) for optional sensors
